Virtual & In-Person Therapy in North Carolina

Some experiences feel tangled, overwhelming, or hard to put into words. Many of my clients grew up with caregivers who were emotionally unavailable or inconsistent.

Therapy can help you untangle these experiences, rebuild trust in yourself, and create relationships that feel safe, authentic, and connected.

A Space That Honors All Parts of You

I work with adults navigating trauma — whether it’s a single event that still feels overwhelming, or long-term patterns from relational stress. I provide a culturally humble, LGBTQ+ affirming, body-neutral, pro-reproductive-freedom space where you’re fully seen, respected, and supported in moving from coping to thriving.

You might resonate if you’re experiencing:

  • Growing up with emotionally immature or inconsistent caregivers

  • Single-event trauma (accidents, assaults, medical trauma, loss, or other overwhelming experiences)

  • Repeating relationship patterns that feel hard to break

  • Anxiety, self-doubt, or chronic people-pleasing

  • Lingering shame, guilt, or self-criticism

Therapy here is strengths-based and collaborative — we notice what’s already working, try new ways forward, and celebrate progress along the way.

You’ll know we work well together if:

  • You want someone organized, intentional, and EMDR-focused

  • You want a therapist who is gentle and collaborative

  • You want therapy to be a relationship, not a lecture or quick fix

If this feels like your kind of space — we’re likely a good fit.

Therapy Approaches

I use a combination of evidence-based and relational approaches to meet you where you are, including:

  • EMDR Therapy — to process experiences that feel stuck (learn more →)

  • Attachment-focused therapy — to understand relational patterns

  • Internal Family Systems (parts work) — to care for all parts of yourself

  • Somatic approaches — to reconnect with your body

  • Skills from ACT, DBT, and CBT — for emotional regulation, cognitive diffusion and self-compassion

Sessions are paced for you and therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all!
