Meet Sara
Hey, I'm Sara (she/her)
I’m an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and EMDR Consultant-In-Training with over a decade of experience supporting adults navigating trauma — including advocacy, education, and work with survivors of IPV. I bring this expertise to our work together, combining relational understanding with trauma-informed care to help people reclaim self-trust and clarity.

I’m a Northern transplant, born and raised in Connecticut. My toxic trait? Getting distracted by clients’ pets mid-session! I was a first-generation college student and a student-athlete (softball pitcher). And yes, I liked the color pink and Taylor Swift before they were cool.
I’m a huge animal lover—I rescue Betta fish, foster dogs, and spoil my three rescue beagles. When I’m not in the office, you’ll find me lifting weights, binge-listening to pop culture podcasts, watching Bravo, or gardening. Oh, and of course, you can catch me in my own therapist’s office too!

How I Work
I believe attachment and relational trauma heal in relationship. In sessions, you’ll be met with compassion, clarity, and intention. I integrate EMDR with trauma-informed, strengths-based care to help you rebuild self-trust, deepen insight, and strengthen your relationships — all while honoring the wisdom you already carry.
I guide the process with skill and experience, while you remain the expert of your own story. That means I provide education, explain diagnoses, discuss treatment options, and collaborate on your plan — giving you space to say yes, ask questions, or suggest adjustments if something doesn’t feel right.
I work from an intersectional, feminist lens, attending to how power, identity, and social structures shape your story.
Who I Work With
Many of the clients I work with are adults who:
• Grew up with emotionally immature or inconsistent caregivers
• Struggle with people-pleasing, boundaries, or chronic self-doubt
• Notice relationship patterns that feel difficult to change
• Carry lingering shame, guilt, or a harsh inner critic
• Have experienced overwhelming or traumatic events they’re still trying to make sense of
