EMDR Therapy for Trauma, CPTSD, & Attachment Wounds in Raleigh NC
Sara Forcella, LCSW
Some experiences feel tangled, overwhelming, or difficult to put into words. EMDR therapy can help you process experiences that feel stuck, reconnect with yourself, and build relationships that feel safer, more authentic, and more fulfilling.
I offer virtual EMDR therapy throughout North Carolina and in-person EMDR therapy in Raleigh, NC.

My Approach to Therapy
While every person's story is different, my work is grounded in these approaches:
EMDR Therapy
EMDR therapy is often the foundation of my work. My approach is attachment-focused and somatically informed, helping people process experiences that feel stuck, overwhelming, or difficult to move beyond so they can experience greater clarity, connection, and freedom.
Attachment-Focused Therapy
Many of our struggles make sense when we understand them through the lens of relationships. Together, we'll explore patterns that developed in response to past experiences and work toward healthier, more secure connections with yourself and others.
IFS-Informed Parts Work
Sometimes different parts of us want different things. Parts work helps us approach those experiences with curiosity rather than judgment, creating space for greater self-understanding, compassion, and healing.
Depending on your goals, therapy may also incorporate sandtray, somatic interventions, mindfulness, and other evidence-based approaches to support healing.
Ready to Take the Next Step?
You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out.
Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for something to change, therapy can help you better understand yourself, process what you've been carrying, and move toward the life and relationships you want.
