About the Course
Single Ladies Support Group:
Are you tired of endlessly swiping on dating apps, only to take a break and then dive back in? Do you feel like you're the only single one left in your friend group? Sick of hearing that it'll happen when you least expect it? It's 2024, you understand that women don't need to be in relationships or have children to be whole. Despite this, it's something you long for. The idea of sharing life's ups and downs with a partner can be incredibly comforting. This group is designed specifically for single women in their late 20s and 30s, providing reassurance that you're not alone. In our 60-minute sessions, we'll explore various topics, including the frustrations of dating, the feelings of isolation and loneliness that often come with being single, as well as feelings of hopelessness and frustration. We'll also discuss the sources of strength and support that you already possess. Join us for a supportive and empowering experience!
Is this group for me?
Participants must be 25 years or older and live in North Carolina. Group members agree to attend at least 7 of the 8 group meetings. I provide a trauma-informed, anti-racist, LGBTQ+ affirming, fat-positive, and pro-reproductive freedom space where all participants are expected to be respectful. This group is not a substitute for psychotherapy and does not initiate a therapeutic relationship. It is highly suggested for participants to already be engaged in indivudal therapy.
